Eygló Hilmarsdóttir

Eygló is an actress, comedian and a screenwriter. She graduated with a BA in acting from The Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2018. She has since worked in various projects in theatre, film and TV. She played Helena in a Midsummer Night’s Dream in the National Theatre of Iceland in 2019 and Gunnhildur in the feature film Backyard Village by Marteinn Þórsson. Eygló writes and stars in the sketch comedy series Kanarí, currently running on RÚV (The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service).
