Unnur Elísabet Gunnarsdóttir
Unnur Elísabet Gunnarsdóttir is a director, screen writer, choreographer and performer. She is the creative director of the festival ÉG BÝÐ MIG FRAM.
Unnur has wide experience within both television and theatre as a multi-discipline artist. She directed Eurovision in Iceland in 2022 and was a creative director on Icelandic Idol in 2023. Unnur directed the show Them by Spindrift theatre, which has been very well received around the world.
Unnur has won numerous awards and nominations, including Icelandic theatre award Gríman and her show Ég býð mig fram won first prize at the Reykjavík Fringe Festival.
