Vigdís Hrefna Pálsdóttir

Vigdís has played over 30 roles at the Icelandic National Theatre and has received numerous award nominations for her performances. She won the Icelandic Theatre Award for “Best Supporting Actress” for her role as Yvette in Mother Courage in 2024. Notable roles include Lila in My Brilliant Friend, Cosette in Les Misérables, Rósa in Independent People, Nancy in Oliver!, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors and many more. Vigdis has read numerous audio books, performed roles in radio theatre and has an extensive CV as a voice artist for animated films and TV-shows including the main characters in Disney´s Snow White and Cinderella, Dora the Explorer and Vanellope in Wreck it Ralph 1 and 2. 

Vigdís has also played several roles in TV and film, including the films The Fires, Agnes Joy, Volcano and Sally Potter´s debut The Gold diggers. Among Vigdis´ TV-shows are King & Conqueror, Camping, Valhalla Murders, A Few Moments… and Afturelding.
