Snjólaug Lúðvíksdóttir

Snjólaug is a screenwriter and stand-up comedian. She studied screenwriting in London and has written short films that have won numerous awards at international film festivals. She is currently working on the thriller KONUR, based on the bestselling novel by Steinar Braga, which is being produced by True North. She is wrote the comedy series Magalúf, which is produced by Stöð 2, and the crime series Stella Blomkvist, which is produced by Saga Film.

Snjólaug also works as a stand-up comedian and performs at comedy shows and events as a stand-up artist/MC. She performs stand-up in Icelandic, English, and French and has entertained audiences across Europe. In 2019, she performed her solo show Let It Snow at the Edinburgh Festival under the prestigious production company Gilded Balloon.
