Aldís Amah Hamilton
Aldís Amah Hamilton is an actor and script writer of Icelandic and African-American descent, fluent in both Icelandic and English. She got her first acting opportunity at the age of ten and graduated from the Iceland Academy for the Arts in 2016.
Her focus has been on film but she’s no stranger to other acting mediums, being familiar with the theatre, motion capture, voice overs, audiobook narrating etc. She studied song and dance in her early years and has continued to do so, focusing more on classical and musical singing as of late.
She has broken many barriers in her home country of Iceland and has been nominated for multiple awards, namely the Icelandic Edda’s and the British BAFTA’s. She longs to show the diversity of Iceland’s population, and considers herself privileged to be an active participant in that movement.
She is also an avid animal activist and works hard to educate and inspire people to be kinder to all living beings.
