Berglind Alda Ástþórsdóttir

Berglind Alda Ástþórsdóttir (1999) is an actress and graduate of the Iceland University of the Arts, Class of 2024. She has built a dynamic career across film, television and theater, showcasing her versatility on stage and screen.

Berglind’s recent screen roles include Binna in the film Ljósbrot, Jóhanna in the TV-series Húsó and Lilja in Venjulegt Fólk 4. She has also been a familiar face in Áramótaskaup and was both writer and performer for Krakkaskaup from 2019 to 2021. Currently, she hosts the popular quiz show Krakkakviss on Stöð 2.

Beyond the screen, Berglind has made a mark in theater, both as an actress and writer. Notable productions include Fyrsta Skiptið and Hlið við Hlið. She is presently starring in the farce Tóm Hamingja at the Reykjavik City Theater and in Stormur, a new musical by Unnur Ösp and Una Torfa, at the National Theater of Iceland.

In addition to her on-screen and stage work, Berglind is an experienced voice artist, lending her talents to audiobook narration, commercial voiceovers, and dubbing.
