Hildur Vala Baldursdóttir
Hildur Vala graduated as an actress from Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2019 and has since become prominent in both theatre and television.
After graduating, Hildur has worked at the National Theatre of Iceland. She has starred in numerous productions, including lead role in Ronja the Robber's daughter and Elsa in Frozen. For her performance as Elsa, she was nominated for the Gríma award as “Singer of the Year,” and as “Singer of the Year” at the Sögum - the Children's Awards.
Hildur has appeared on screen as well - TV-projects include Venjulegt fólk, Afturelding, Stella Blomkvist, Netflix series Katla and in the short film Skeljar. She has also starred in advertisements for both Icelandic and international companies.
Alongside her acting career, Hildur has worked as a singer and a voice artist. She was the voice of Icelandair from 2019-2022., she has recorded for advertisements and worked in audiobook narration.
