Andri Ívars

Andri Ívars is a comedian and guitar virtuoso who has been working in this field for nearly a decade. Andri is known for incorporating impressive guitar playing into his stand-up routine, which gives him a distinctive edge in Iceland. For many years, Andri was a member of the duet Föstudagslögin with Stefán Jakobsson, the lead singer of the heavy metal band Dimma, where they performed humor mixed with “acoustic” arrangements of well-known songs. Additionally, Andri has performed with the stand-up group Mið-Ísland and as a warm-up act for Ari Eldjárn, among other performances.
