Saga Garðarsdóttir

Saga Garðarsdóttir graduatedas an actress from Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2012. She began working at the National Theatre of Iceland where she stayed until 2014. She is also a playwright.

Saga has acted in films and TV shows and was part of the writing team for the Áramótaskaup comedy shows in 2022 and 2017, both of which won the Edda Award for "Comedy of the Year." She regularly performs as a stand-up comedian and is a member of the improv group Improv Ísland, which has held regular shows at the National Theatre's basement since the fall of 2015.
